Washington Had a Rainforest. We're Bringing It Back.

One forest at a time. One tree at a time. Forever.

THE FORGOTTEN FOREST

Most people don't realize what Washington has lost.

Before destructive forestry practices, the Pacific Northwest was cloaked in one of the most productive temperate rainforests on Earth. Towering bigleaf maples formed cathedral canopies along our rivers. Their roots anchored streambanks where salmon spawned for millennia. Their falling leaves built soil six feet deep. Their branches hosted gardens of moss and fern—a vertical ecosystem alive with songbirds, woodpeckers, and creatures found nowhere else.

These forests regulated our climate, filtered our water, and nurtured life for 10,000 years.

Then we cleared them.

We replaced complexity with simplicity. Biodiversity with monoculture. Permanence with the endless cycle of clearcut and replant. A living, breathing ecosystem reduced to rows of timber waiting for the saw.

We're here to bring it back.

Forever Forests™

A Forever Forest is exactly what it sounds like: a forest designed to last.

We acquire land. We plant and restore native bigleaf maple stands. We lock the land into permanent trust—protected from development, from clearcutting, from the short-term thinking that's stripped our region of its original forests.

But these aren't museum pieces. Forever Forests are working forests. They produce. Bigleaf maple is one of nature's most remarkable trees—it coppices when cut, regenerating from the stump to produce again and again. A single stand can remain productive for centuries.

OUR FOREVER FORESTS™ DELIVER:

1. Ecological value — watershed protection, flood mitigation, carbon sequestration, wildlife habitat, soil regeneration

2. Economic value — sustainable annual harvests that fund continued restoration and expansion

3. Generational value — land preserved in perpetuity, beyond the reach of quarterly thinking

THIS IS OUR MODEL:

PROTECT. PRODUCE. REPEAT. FOREVER.

OUR FORESTS SOLVE PROBLEMS

The Pacific Northwest needs resilient solutions for a changing world. Forever Forests deliver.

Climate Solution

Our forests sequester carbon at rates that dwarf conventional forestry—and they do it permanently. No clearcut. No release. Carbon locked away for centuries, cycle after cycle.

FlOOD DEFENSE

The Pacific Northwest is rain country. Atmospheric rivers. King tides. Rivers that rise ten feet overnight. If you live in Whatcom, Skagit, or King County, you know what December looked like.

Forever Forests are living flood infrastructure—designed to work with water, not against it. Root systems absorb water. Canopy intercepts rain. Organic soil holds moisture like a sponge. Every acre of Forever Forest is an acre of flood protection that costs nothing to maintain and improves with age.

Fire Resilience

Bigleaf maple offers something rare: a forest built to survive fire. And if it does burn? It grows back fast.

If a Forever Forest ever burns, we harvest the wood for biochar and watch the forest resprout. No replanting. No waiting decades. Maple stumps come back stronger after fire—more stems, more growth, more forest than before.

Salmon Habitat

Salmon need cool, clean streams with complex habitat. Forever Forests create exactly that.

Roots stabilize banks. Canopy shades water and keeps it cool. Fallen leaves feed the insects that feed juvenile fish. Every riparian Forever Forest is a salmon recovery project—automatically, permanently.

Wildlife Corridors

Wildlife needs connected landscapes to thrive. Forever Forests reconnect what was broken—permanently protected corridors for movement, supporting hundreds of species from salamanders to owls.

The Miracle Hiding in Plain Sight

The bigleaf maple is the most undervalued resource in the Pacific Northwest.

It's native—perfectly adapted to these conditions after thousands of years of evolution. It coppices—cut it down and it grows back, faster than before. It produces—the rarest maple syrup on Earth comes only from this species. It sequesters—carbon at rates that challenge assumptions about what forests can do.

And yet it's been ignored. Cleared for pasture. Dismissed as a "weed tree." Ground into chips or left to rot.

We see something different.

We see the foundation species of the original Pacific Northwest rainforest. We see a tree that can rebuild what was lost—faster, denser, more productively than anyone thought possible. We see the key to a new kind of forestry: one that produces abundance without destruction.

IT’S TIME TO bring it back.

Certifiably Wild

We don't do organic.

Organic is a label for farms.

Our products come from wild forests—native trees growing in native soil, untouched by cultivation. No orchards. No plantations. No controlled environments. Just pure, wild-harvested goodness from trees that have been here longer than any of us.

Certifiably Wild™ is our standard. It means:

1. Wild-sourced — Harvested from natural bigleaf maple stands, not cultivated trees

2. Forest-grown — Products of functioning ecosystems, not agricultural operations

3. Pure — Nothing added, nothing artificial, nothing that doesn't belong

Think wild-caught Alaskan salmon. Fresh-picked huckleberries. Forest mushrooms after rain. That's the category we belong in—wild foods from wild places, with a quality that can't be manufactured.

This is what real tastes like.

FOREST TO TABLE

Every product we make begins in a Forever Forest.

Our bigleaf maples produce a sap unlike any other—rarer, more complex, drawn from wild trees in living ecosystems. We transform this into a collection of products that carry the forest's story to your table.

Pure Maple Syrup — The rarest maple syrup in the world, from the only commercial bigleaf maple operation on the West Coast.

Maple Beverages — Lightly sweetened, mineral-rich tree water and sparkling drinks straight from the source.

Craft Collaborations — Small-batch partnerships with local distillers, brewers, and roasters.

Verified Carbon — Verified, permanent carbon sequestration from forests that will never be cut.

Every bottle, every can, every product is proof that forests can thrive and produce without being destroyed.

Every bottle, every can, every credit is proof that forests can thrive and produce without being destroyed.

By 2030: 10,000 acres under Forever Forest management in Washington State.

By 2050: 1,000,000 acres returned to permanent temperate rainforest across Washington, Oregon, and California.

The land exists. The species is ready. What's been missing is vision—and the willingness to act at scale. We're done thinking small. The Pacific Northwest once held the greatest temperate rainforest on Earth. We cleared most of it in a century. Every acre we protect is a climate solution. A flood defense. A salmon stream. A carbon bank. A gift to our grandchildren and theirs.
